This Air Bnb is where we stayed in 2019 and it happens to be just down the road from where we are currently living. It’s in a modern apartment building close to the wall and the north part of Via del Fosso right by Porta Jacopo. This is a one bed/one bath but has an elevator. We really like this husband and wife and enjoyed our stay with them.

This BnB is located at the north end of the main shopping street in Lucca Centro, Via Fillungo. The closest porta would be Porta Santa Maria, just to give you an idea of the location if you look at a map. The staff is friendly and helpful and you can enjoy a beautiful outdoor common area terrace.
Albergo San Martino
This hotel is located inside the medieval wall and within walking distance from the train. The people were friendly and we enjoyed a nice Spritz and nibbles on the small patio in front of the hotel.
