Matera Restaurant

This Matera restaurant was over-the-top and we would return here in a heartbeat!

Excellent food and service… and the view! You walk through an archway and down several steps to the restaurant. We wrote about our experience in our book, “Our Italian Journey,” as our desserts were works of art. Don’t forget to try the roasted dry peppers. We thought they would be spicy but were simply delicious. They are dried for a few months and then flash-fried.
