Here are our amazing Capri hotel recommendations when staying on the island. Neither of these will disappoint you!
Hotel San Michele
This hotel has a shuttle service that will pick you up and return you to Marina Grande upon arrival/departure from one of the ferry services you will take to get to Capri.
The location of this hotel was perfect. A 5-minute walk into town for great restaurants and shopping as well as the location to get the chairlift for Mount Solaro.
The pool is the largest on the island and we enjoyed relaxing with a few specialty drinks. We enjoyed a Limoncello Spritz and another cocktail, but I can’t recall the name.
The hotel is beautifully decorated and we would stay here again!

Hotel Weber Ambassador
Hotel Weber Ambassador
Via Marina Piccola, 118
Location: Capri
Accommodation: Luxury
Price: $$$
This hotel also has a shuttle service that will pick you up and return you to Marina Grande upon arrival/departure from one of the ferry services you will take to get to Capri. We also used their shuttle to go into the town of Capri.
Just steps down the road, we followed the signs to get to the beach. It is very rocky so bring a type of water shoe but the beach and views were amazing. The three towering rock formations, known as the Faraglioni Rocks can be seen while you are in the water. It is stunning.
This hotel had exception food and dinner was included with our room. Make a reservation for dinner so you have a good chance of sitting on the small balcony. It was perfect with the sun setting, the view of the Faraglioni Rocks, and the twinkling lights of the boats just offshore. The breakfast buffet was just as amazing with made-to-order omelets and a selection of meats, fruits, yogurt that was over-the-top!
