Saint Marinus Basilica
Saint Marinus Basilica is neo-classical and was built in the early 19th century and dedicated to San Marino. The interior is classic style, with a long nave and two side aisles lined with altars.
There are seven altars with beautiful paintings and statues. The high altar (above) has a statue of St. Marinus sculptured by Tadolini. An urn there contains the relics of St. Marinus.
This basilica was beautiful as it lacked color. The plain color scheme was actually amazing, especially the ceiling.
